Cheers to Cate Bennett… our two-year MMM reigning CHAMPION! Another shoutout to Reid Comishock for his second time podium appearance as well. Even though only one 7th grader made the podium, you all have another chance to gain redemption next year as 8th graders. And well done to the humpback whale for being the real MVP! 🐋

On Wednesday, April 1st the middle school gathered for their March/April community meeting where student achievement was celebrated and an end of the year challenge was introduced. First we enjoyed two performances from the middle school bands, amazing job to them! Then we acknowledged the growth and maturity of two 8th grade students as our March and April All-Stars! Check out the separate posts with videos of Olivia Boudreau’s and Addison Schwenk’s speeches - a big congratulations to these two ladies!! We then had our monthly Star Bear raffle, where students’ good deeds that were captured throughout the month were randomly selected. Well done to Schylar Kinney, Mackenzie Lawyer, Kennadie Adams, Addison Schwenk, Hunter Dupaw, and Eduardo Gil Gonzalez!
Mrs. Caforia recognized students that shone in this year’s STEM Fair competition. A huge shout out to Olivia Boudreau, Aleena Becic, Addison Schwenk, Briella Weiss, Aubrey Woods, Lexis Smith, and Noreen Boda on their success at the district and state STEM Fair! Mr. Fontana then shared “A Call for Kindness” that encourages students to be kind to one another in this last quarter of the year. If students are able to connect a chain of links of kind acts from the end of the middle school to the high school hallway, the whole school will celebrate this success with a reward party! 🍦Let’s rise to the occasion, EFMS! Keep being awesome!
