All Scholarships are listed on the bulletin board "Senior Corner" by the water fountain with due dates. Paper applications are also available in guidance.

FRS Scholarship Opportunity for VTel / VTEL Wireless Costumers: Deadline 02/14/26 ⌛
One application qualifies for several scholarships.
Eligibility: Be a graduating high school senior. Be a United States Citizen. Be sponsored by a current member of NTCA - The Rural Broadband Association. Express an interest to return to a rural community following graduation.

The American Legion High School Oratorical Program "A Constitutional Speech Contest" Deadline: 12/19/25
Awards: $1,500, $750.00, $500.00 (go to the first through third places in the Department contest in March)
Open to grades 9-12. You can find more information about the contest here: "A Constitutional Speech Contest".
College scholarships of $25,000, $22,500, and $20,000 will be awarded to the first through third places at the National level. The American Legion will pay the expenses of the state winner and his or her chaperone at the national contest in Michigan.

Vermont & US Senate Scholarship Application: Deadline: 01/12/26 ⌛
Eligibility: Graduate high school seniors in Vermont that plan on continuing their education at a college/university, or a technical/trade school. Students must have a GPA of 3.75 and above to be considered. You must be a U.S. citizen for this scholarship.

Horatio Alger Scholarship: ⌛ Seniors Deadline: 02/15/26 / Juniors Deadline: 03/01/26
Up to 600+ Scholarships up to 25,000 Each
Description: Seeking students who display integrity and perseverance in overcoming adversity, and plan to pursue a bachelor's degree. Students must have a financial need and determination to turn adversity into opportunity and pursue their American Dream.

Power of Hard Work Scholarship - Deadline 03/15/2016 ⌛
Scholarship Amount: $5,000
Description: Focus on students interested in Heavy Equipment Operation or Diesel Mechanics. Students must be on track to graduate and continue their education in these fields.

P.E.O. Foundation Scholarship: Deadline 03/01/2026 ⌛
Scholarship Amount: $2,000 / Scholarship Focus on Senior Women
Description: Senior women who plan to pursue a 2-4 year college degree or a technical program. Must hold a VT Residency.

Hardy Family Scholarship : Deadline 03/30/2026 ⌛
Scholarship Amount: $1,500
Description: Focus on students pursuing careers in Engineering, Construction Management or Welding.

PDC Huzon "Jerry" Stewart Scholarship Awards: Deadline 04/01/2026 ⌛
Scholarship Amounts: Dept. Of Vermont Scholarship: $1,500 / Dept. Commander Scholarship $1,000
Eligibility: Seniors attending a Vermont Secondary School or a similar school in an adjoining state, whose parents are legal residents of the state of Vermont or seniors residing in an adjacent state whose normal high school attendance area is Vermont Secondary School.
Applicant must be a US Resident. You will need a copy of your High School transcript and two letters of recommendation from members of the High School Staff, who have the knowledge of your high school years.
