  • Applications can be found by clicking on relevant links indicated  (Hard copies are also available in the school counseling office).

  • All Scholarships are listed on the bulletin board "Senior Corner" by the water fountain with due dates. Paper applications are also available in guidance.

Power of Hard Work Scholarship - Deadline 03/15/2016 βŒ›

Scholarship Amount: $5,000

Description: Focus on students interested in Heavy Equipment Operation or Diesel Mechanics. Students must be on track to graduate and continue their education in these fields.

Hagan Scholarship Foundation: Deadline: 03/15/2026 βŒ›

Eligibility: Must attend a high school located in the United States. Must be in the high school graduating class. All students who meet the eligibility criteria can apply regardless of nationality or citizenship. Must have achieved an unweighted 3.50 CGPA based on a 4.0 Grading Scale. Must provide a current copy of the applicant’s High School Transcript.

The Dr. Alice Angney Scholarship for Leadership and Service: Deadline 03/23/26 βŒ›

Award: $3,000 Scholarship provided by the Vermont Superintendents Association.

Eligibility: A high school student whose education is publicly funded, who is a resident of Vermont and who is demonstrating a commitment to further their education after graduation. The selected student will have to demonstrated initiative in overcoming a specific challenge or challenges.

Hardy Family Scholarship : Deadline 03/30/2026 βŒ›

Scholarship Amount: $1,500

Description: Focus on students pursuing careers in Engineering, Construction Management or Welding.

The Rotary Club of St. Albans Scholarship - Deadline: 04/01/2026 βŒ›

Scholarship Amount: $1,000

Eligibility Criteria: You are a graduating high school senior. You reside in Franklin County. You plan to pursue higher education or career training. Looking for students who demonstrate leadership and community involvement. Individuals who live by the Rotary motto: "Service Above Self". Graduating seniors continuing education at a college, technical school, or a certification program.

PDC Huzon "Jerry" Stewart Scholarship Awards: Deadline 04/01/2026 βŒ›

Scholarship Amounts: Dept. Of Vermont Scholarship: $1,500 / Dept. Commander Scholarship $1,000

Eligibility: Seniors attending a Vermont Secondary School or a similar school in an adjoining state, whose parents are legal residents of the state of Vermont or seniors residing in an adjacent state whose normal high school attendance area is Vermont Secondary School.

Applicant must be a US Resident. You will need a copy of your High School transcript and two letters of recommendation from members of the High School Staff, who have the knowledge of your high school years.

The American Legion Post #42 Scholarship: Deadline: 04/01/26βŒ›

3 Scholarships available: (2) $750.00 & (1) $500.00

Eligibility: High School Seniors that resides in Enosburg or attend Enosburg Falls High School preference to a child of a veteran.

The American Legion Department of Vermont Scholarship: Deadline: 04/01/26 βŒ›

2 Scholarships available: 1) $1,500 , 2) $1,000

Eligibility: Seniors attending a Vermont Secondary School or similar school in an adjoining state, whose parents are legal residents of the State of Vermont OR seniors residing in an adjacent state whose normal high school attendance are is Vermont Secondary School. The applicant must be a US resident.

Dr. Wennar MD Health Education Scholarship: Deadline: 04/01/26 βŒ›

Scholarship Amount: $3,000 - $5,000 / Between 3 to 5 given

Eligibility: Senior graduating from a High School in Franklin County, entering collegiate study in a health care field. This scholarship is not based on financial need β€” it is awarded based on a student’s academic performance and community service. One or more scholarships will be awarded each year, with one scholarship going to a student pursuing a career in nursing. The scholarships are funded through the Martin H. Wennar, MD, Health Education Fund.

NEPPA Student Scholarship: Deadline: 04/03/2026 βŒ›

Scholarship Amount: $500.00

  • Be pursuing a career in a public power related field.

  • Be a resident serviced by NEPPA member utility or a relative of an employee of a NEPPA member utility.

The Billy Howrigan Scholarship 2026: Deadline 04/15/2026 βŒ›

Scholarship Amount: $500 or more / Paper applications at the Counseling Office

Eligibility: Residents of Franklin County pursuing higher education, including vocational education and trade school at a post-secondary level. Scholarships will be selected using the following criteria: expression of need (if applicable), academic standing, leadership skills and experience, character, and the overall application presentation.

Vermont Golf Association Scholarship: Deadline: 04/15/2026βŒ›

Requirements: Be a resident of the State of Vermont and graduating from high school. Enrolled in, or accepted as a full-time student at a college, university or technical school of university grade. Have a current and active affiliation with the game of golf such as competing on a golf team, working at a golf course, and/or participating in golf programs or events.

Sons of The American Legion Dennis Comai Scholarship: Deadline: 04/15/2026 βŒ›

Scholarship Amount: $1,000

Eligibility: Any student who is planning to attend college, Trade School or Technical College and who any family are members of the American Legion Family are welcome to apply for this scholarship.

American Legion Auxiliary Past Department Presidents Nursing Scholarship: Deadline: 04/15/2026 βŒ›

Scholarship Amount: $1,000

Applicants must be entering the nursing field (RN or LN) to be eligible. The scholarship is awarded to a high school senior who is the son, daughter, grandson, granddaughter, great-grandson, great-granddaughter or sibling of a veteran.

American Legion Auxiliary Department of Vermont Unit Education Chairman: Deadline: 04/15/2026βŒ›

Award Amount: $1,000

Requirements: Completed application packet, 3 letters of recommendation, a certified transcript, a copy of SAT or ACT scores, a copy of FAFSA or SAR.

Luc Gates Memorial Scholarship: Deadline: 04/15/2026

Scholarship Amount: $1,000

The Luc Gates Foundation awards four scholarships to seniors graduating from Franklin County high schools that are pursuing a degree or two or four year year college or university. Two scholarships will be awarded to students graduating from Enosburg Falls High School (one male and one female).

Vermont Federal Credit Union Scholarship: Deadline 04/24/2026 βŒ›

Scholarship amount: $2,000

Eligibility: Must be accepted to or enroll in an accredited undergraduate program at a college, trade school, or university (minimum 12 credit semester or full time equivalent). Studies must begin within one year of receiving the award (Fall 2026 or Spring 2027). Be a Vermont Federal Credit Union Member. Not a member? Those who live, work, worship or attend school anywhere in Vermont can become a member.

Winona Smith Scholarship: Deadline: 04/30/2026 βŒ›

Scholarship Amount: $3,000

Requirements: Scholarships are awarded based on student interest in civic participation and community service, financial need, completed application form, required essays, and teacher commendation. You will need:

  • Two essays of 300-500 words each.

  • One Letter of Reference from a teacher or school representative who is familiar with your achievements and abilities.

The Chauncey B. Warner Memorial Scholarship: Deadline: 05/01/2026 βŒ›

Scholarship Amount: $3,000

These scholarships are based on financial eligibility (low income) and can be awarded for any post-secondary goals, including two-year, four-year, or trade schools.

Lee A. Walker Memorial Scholarship: Deadline: May 16th, 2026βŒ›

Qualifications: Have plans to attend a post High School graduate institution: college, trade or technical school, etc. Have demonstrated good leadership through their high school career. Have a GPA at the minimum college level acceptance of 2.5. Have provided the requirements of the application.
